Morning glory milking farm book6/27/2023 That’s definitely the most batshit crazy part of this novel and something that not every reader will be comfortable with. So let’s address the whole “milking” thing. Are her feelings one-sided or is there something more there? Violet ends up not minding the work too much, except for the burgeoning feelings she has towards one of her clients – an out-of-her league minotaur. And that work entails milking minotaurs, aka giving handjobs to minotaurs to collect their ejaculation for use in a Viagra-like pharmaceutical drug. When she sees a job posting at the Morning Glory Farm, she decides to take a chance on it as it pays well, even if she’s hesitant about the actual work. Violet needs a job to help her pay her bills until she can find work in her chosen profession. I don’t think I can ever look at a glass of milk the same ever again. Morning Glory Milking Farm is my first monster romance, and I’ve got to say, it managed to be exactly what I expected it to be, but also unexpected in how sweet the romance was. What did I just read? After seeing this book EVERYWHERE on Instagram, I decided to give it a go. Links: Amazon – Barnes & Noble – Goodreads Series or Standalone: Cambric Creek: Sweet and Steamy Monster Romance #1

The Price of a Bride by Michelle Reid6/26/2023 Literally, the story relates to the price of Mia, as a bride – as she passes between two cynical businessmen as nothing less than a piece of property. Not that there’s a connection or anything, it just made me think. The hero’s full name, Alexander Doumas (Greek) made me think of ‘The Three Musketeers’ writer, Alexandre Dumas (French). And it left me in a happy daze at the end. But as they both let their guards down with the shared intimacy, Mia’s pregnancy announcement and Mia’s little ‘sister’ Suzanna’s surgery, do they find their happiness?ġ999 – Yep, it is that old! But it did warm the cockles of my heart. While Mia puts Alex in the same category of males as her father (what with the prenup he has drawn up), their wedding moves forwards with a sex fest. But Mia discloses her actual motive behind this sordid deal much later, while she presents herself as a very selfish person to Alex. Alex’s motivation is clear from the beginning, and becomes more plausible, as he reveals the truth behind his desperation to own the land. And for this, he coerces the hero, Alexander, who is desperate to buy his family’s island (which is one of Mia’s father’s possessions). The story has an unconventional beginning where Mia, the heroine, is literally sold/prostituted by her ‘father’ for a male heir (to replace his dead son). Johnny tremain by esther forbes6/25/2023 I always finish the books I start now, and this little book was the origin of that. That was really the start of my feelings on sticking with books today. All I really remember is being glad I made myself finish it. Of course, at this point, I barely remember anything about the plot. The temptation to put it aside and read something else was high, but I made myself stick with it and ended up really enjoying it. It was assigned to me in my seventh grade English class, and I remember not feeling too impressed with the story in the beginning. Johnny Tremain holds a special place in my heart because it is one of the first books I can recall pushing myself to finish reading. “We give all we have, lives, property, safety, skill.we fight, we die, for a simple thing. LOCH, THE by Steve Alten - SIGNED FIRST EDITION BOOK Spawn origins book 26/25/2023 The problem with Spawn is that Todd thinks it sells itself. Get them for yourself, your friends, your family. Not just further reprints, but new books.īuy'em up. The reason you should do it is that I've been assured that interest in these reprints will gauge McFarlane's interest in doing more. You're probably thinking "Why the fuck would I buy the Origins books if they just cancel them after issue 100?", good point. This is pretty much the only unified Spawn community on the web now that the official Spawn forums are gone. You guys have a lot more pull than you think. I take messages from this subreddit and put them directly into the ear of McFarlane employees. Now, for those of you who found you couldn't find the first book (hardcover particularly) without paying crazy prices, you will see them at normal prices available again very soon! And you know why they're going back in print? Because you asked for it. I have a few friends in the McFarlane camp who told me of this a while back, and I sought confirmation last night to double-check before I made this post. I'm sure we speculated, and wondered, and waited to hear about the next issue. The Spawn Origins collections are canceled. Chartwell Classics are the editions of choice for the most discerning literature buffs. Essential volumes for the shelves of every classic literature lover, the Chartwell Classics series includes beautifully presented works and collections from some of the most important authors in literary history. A modern design makes this timeless book a perfect piece for any library. After Marx's death, Engels completed and published the second and third parts from his colleague's notes. After being exiled to London, Marx published the first part of Das Kapital, a theoretical text that argues that capitalism will create greater and greater division in wealth and welfare and ultimately be replaced by a system of common ownership of the means of production. This pamphlet by the German philosophers Karl Marx and Friedrich Engels, published in 1884 as revolutions were erupting across Europe, discusses class struggles and the problems of a capitalist society. Considered to be one of the most influential political writings, The Communist Manifesto is as relevant today as when it was originally published. The unabridged versions of these definitive works are now available together in this highly designed jacketed hardcover with an introduction by Marx in Soho actor Bob Weick. |
